Sake cups that are made from a brown clay body and then salt fired, giving them a rich, shiny, black appearance. Cup 1 has a blueish-green glaze inside that runs over about an inch to the exterior of the cup. Cup 2 is unglazed (but still foodsafe!) and has a botanical carving that just barely shows through the depth of the clay color.
